This iron coin is Kriegsgeld (war money) issued by the City of Ludenscheid, a town in the Markischer Kreis district, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The coin depicts elements of the city coat of arms such as the checked fess and The city wall which denotes the city rights that Ludenscheid received in 1287.
